Interviewing my Coach – She She Killough

One of the greatest ways to find out more about people is to interview them, and ask questions and then LISTEN! I have guest bloggers on here because I definitely do not know it all, and having others input is always a help! If there is one thing that I have learned to do over all of these years is to ask for help! Last entry by She She – I hope you enjoy getting to know her as much as I have!

SHE SHE KILLOUGH – ISAGENIX HEALTH COACH GETS INTERVIEWED

What inspired you to get healthy?

Simple, my unhappiness with my weight.

Who is your hero?

I have many… 1.Moms who invest in future generations by investing in their kids and raise amazing kids 2. My own 3 sons are hero’s to me because of their character, wisdom and love for others. 3. People of great love and character.

What specifically keeps you motivated to make healthy choices?

I wish I could say I always made healthy choices. My weakness tends to be doing too much and staying up too late and not getting enough sleep. It’s not that I can’t sleep, it’s that I tend to push the envelope. What reigns me in is the reminder of others I know who are paying the price in their health because of their choices. I see it daily and I was that person 100 % before Isagenix. So even though I am not perfect…. no one is, I have come a long way over the years, because I like feeling alive in my body and mind.

When you are coaching people, what is most common complaint?

The most common complaint among people I coach …. hmmm, I would say they tend to feel guilty because they think they are spending too much of my time with questions. After some time reassuring them they understand, I really am there to help them and I consider it an investment in someone’s life …which translates into a better future and family. That is something I value. Or the fear of the unknown…. they are afraid that they can’t do something they have never done before, like a cleanse day for example. I take the time to reassure them that there are many ways to accomplish their goals and for those who are nervous I show them how we can take baby steps or dive right in, either way it’s always a win. There is no lose when you’re investing in you, your health and your future.

What is your favorite recipe?

(Laughing) I would have to say, probably any recipes with organic steak or wild salmon in it. I also Love a salad with a ton of greens, and veggies, berries, hard boiled egg, avocado, chicken.  Anything with avocado is a draw for me as well.

Do you have cheat days, and if so, how often?

Cheat days…. no not commonly, cheat meals, sure. Not on a scheduled basis but probably closer to 2 times a month. I find for myself, when I eat healthy, the temptation for unhealthy food doesn’t draw me as much over time. If it does, it’s a signal for me it’s time to cleanse and reset my taste buds and my metabolism or severely cut back on something that has crept into my diet that doesn’t bring life to my body and mind.

What do you do for fun?

Fun? Those who know me well, know my middle name is Fun, which usually means adventure of some kind. I love kayaking..I mean LOVE kayaking, it’s so serene and revitalizing. I love traveling to places I have never been to before, especially if there is some adventure involved like zip lining or scuba diving. I also love people and I find their stories fascinating. People often equate to Fun for me.

Tell us about your favorite success story of a client of yours.

That’s hard to nail down to just one. Most of them seem to be about either weight loss or getting someone shredded, but one of my first favorites has nothing to do with either. A client I was working with had episodes of extreme discomfort in her head where she had to go into her room in complete darkness to cope. She had a daughter who of course this affected as well. We started her slowly to take it step by step and work her into this good nutrition system and the nightly cleansing changed the game for her. She didn’t have to resort to dark isolation anymore and her beautiful daughter then 12 yrs old wrote me an incredibly sweet letter thanking me for giving her mother back to her.  Sometimes people think we are all about weight loss or building athletic performance and I get it, it’s the easiest thing to physically show and we do it well, but there is so so much more that people don’t know or understand about this great nutrition system and we see wonderful things all the time. This is just one of many and I am just so grateful to have been in the mix.

Have you had struggles w/sugar?

Yes, in the past mostly. I know part of it was because I didn’t sleep well, lack of nutrition in our foods left my body very imbalanced so I was unable to sleep for more than 2 to 4 hours a night for 20 years. I just could not sleep, even sleeping pills for the most part didn’t work. So I compensated with sugar to keep me going and then would crash and get more sugar and keep going. Thankfully I found Isagenix and I was able to sleep like a normal person once my body got the nutrients it so desperately needed. My body was reset, my mind was resetting so I didn’t find the need for sugar like I did in the past. For the most part now I find many things too sweet for my taste.

What is the plan for you and your Isagenix business in the future?

I plan to continue helping people get healthy, happy and strong, and help their people do the same and over time we can together change a lot more lives to be the best versions of themselves they can be for their families and for whatever their call in life is.

How can we benefit from your program?

Many ways, individuals who are looking for a simple way to get serious nutrition in their body, and their children’s bodies. If they would like to develop strong, healthy cells, bones, gut health, a strong immune system, better sleep, more energy, improved joint health, and age better, they can use this amazing nutrition for life.

People who want to lose weight, put on lean muscle, take their athletic performance to new levels all will benefit from our nutrition.

Those who want to support brain health and their telomeres, should be using our nutrition.  Also people that want great nutrition with ease and convenience.  Let’s face it, we live in a fast paced world with kids games, scheduled appointments, work, doctor visits, travel time to and from work, who has time to shop for everything to make sure everything is all organic, has the nutrients our family needs daily and then to come home to prepare it, clean it up?

We are exhausted before we even start cooking?! To have trusted nutrition that you don’t have to think about, that tastes delicious and gives your kids and family the nutrition that feeds their cells and brain in the morning that takes you two minutes to make and clean up… it’s simply genius.
