Day 6 – It’s getting easier!

Hi there!  I want to give a shout out to the recent followers – thank you for your support and likes!  I attribute getting to Day 6 by coming on here and telling you that I am still not consuming sugar.  You are my accountability, and I take this serious because of this site.

Next Monday, January 11th, this site will be introduced to the public through social media and my tribe from my other two businesses.  I have already created a very small following on Instagram and would love it if you are on there – follow me – and I will do my best to support you as well! IT’s under sugarsobriety on Instagram.

Please keep in mind that I am new to this blogging thing and still have to figure things out as I go.  So, if I haven’t returned the favor by following you – it’s because I haven’t quite figured out how to do so!  Now, with that being said, if you would like to comment below and leave me a link to do that, THAT would be awesome!

IT’s Day 6!  Can you believe it? I woke up this morning full of energy!  I have cut down to one cup of coffee a day and I had an event to go to today as well this morning, however, I usually sleep in on the weekends until at least 6:30 AM.  When I woke up, I was pulled to watch some YouTube. I always follow my gut.

You should know that I do not have a TV in my house.  So, I watch YouTube on my phone – mostly documentaries and I listen to binaural beats and isochronic tones as well as some TED Talks. Anyway, I was searching for some information on sugar, and I stumbled upon this 45 minute documentary as well as this little 5 minute video on what happens in your brain when you consume sugar.  Both of these video’s were a GAME CHANGER.  It’s amazing what happens when I get educated.  Motivation, and inspiration happens.  I think I am at a place now that I value my body and know that I deserve to be treated better by myself.  If that makes sense.  It’s a priority, and I have started seeing the truth about sugar.  I want to share that 5 minute video with you and if you want to watch the documentary – there is a link on the bottom of the Welcome page.

I know I will not consume sugar today…… I couldn’t tell you that yesterday or the day before.  THAT….  my friend is a SHIFT.  I am going to go to gym and do some light cardio, fix a Paleo meal and call this day a success!  The Gratitude Journal is coming along nicely, I am considering creating a page here to document that.  What do you think?

Tomorrow will mark a milestone of one week!  2016 is starting off quite nicely!
